Had a great experience painting in Europe this year but of particular interest was Venice. As many of you know, all my art supplies are in my backpack and I don't ever have bags to checkin... obviously I have to work very small. However, this year in Venice I was determined to paint in oil. I learned a lot of tricks to make it easier but the bottom line is that it's much less practical than watercolor. I still enjoyed the works and thought I'd share.
