Kandy, Sri Lanka. This was painted on the roof-top (roof-tops are always quiet without people watching over your shoulders) and I was getting bored with the landscapes so tried to integrate some buildings where I could focus on light and shadows. Reminds me of work I did in 1988 Fort Collins, Colorado watercolors.
